Gary Webb, a Pulitzer Prize-winning
investigative reporter who wrote a series of stories linking the
CIA to crack cocaine trafficking in Los Angeles, is dead at age
49. Webb was found Friday morning at his home in Sacramento
County, dead of an apparent suicide (shot twice in the head).

explode in South America. Speculation was that Chavez of Venezuela
was going to buck Colombia, and that Argentina's Kirschner and
Guatemala's Berger would back Colombia. Colombia is the coca
capitol of the world.

Venezuela is the fifth greatest oil exporter in the world. A
South American reformer to clean up the drug trade. President
Chavez has ordered 50 Mig-29 fighters, 40 Mi-35 helicopters, and
100,000 AK-47 assault rifles to help his nation defend against
Colombia.
Colombia received $3.3 billion in US military
assistance (Used to protect the drug trade and fight rebels) from
Clinton in 2000. But, this was mainly for helicopters and
transport planes - No match for Mig-29's.
Gary Webb would never be allowed to write his book about this.
